Are you in the Customer Experience game? Are you looking for new ideas? Maybe some advice? Do you want to meet people in a similar position? And maybe have a laugh at the same time? Well, if so, I hope this blog is for you.

A bit of boring background…

I am passionate about the subject of Customer Experience, so much so I have written three books on the subject. The Customer Experience is something I have lived and breathed since the late 1990’s when on one fateful day my boss called me into his office and set me a task that was to change my life!

“Colin, I would like you to improve the Customer Experience at least cost” he said. Ever since that day I have thought of little else. In 2002 I set up Beyond Philosophy. From our offices in London, England and Atlanta, Georgia, USA I have met some great people who all have the same bug… to improve the Customer Experience. This blog is for every one of them.

Everyday I am asked by people “who else is doing this stuff?” or “I would love to understand what others are doing and share best practice”. Now this can be achieved in our Experience Clinic blog.

The intention of this blog is to put in place a forum where Customer Experience professionals can meet, debate, and share ideas and problems. I hope that we have some fun along the way. Being a geek on the subject I carry around a camera with me, snapping pictures of good and bad Customer Experiences to illustrate points with people. Reality is often better than any theory. I will share these with you and hope you will do the same.

Let me be clear from the outset this is my first ever blog. Yes I have read many peoples’ blogs; but I am a novice, so bloggers please be gentle with me! Feedback is great so please let me know what you think, good and bad.

Welcome to the Experience Clinic!

Best regards,
