Deal a day aggregator cuts out the middle men
Everyone loves a deal.
Fed up of your inbox filling up with daily offers, freebies and discounts? Or do you regularly find yourself trekking to a couple of different sites to find out the latest local offers? Although the discount sites are helpful by making you aware of the latest offers, there is no dominant site that covers all categories and locations. Dealradar aims to change that by cutting out the middlemen:
“Dealradar is a free service that finds and reports on unique daily-deal offers drawing from more than 80 daily deal sites sites like Groupon and LivingSocial in more than 60 cities across the US, the UK, Australia and Canada.”
Dealradar is available to access through the site, email, Twitter, Facebook or RSS and even a mobile app. Does this just reduce offers to a simple transactional property rather than a genuine discount by organisations to their consumers? Or did this relationship never really exist in the first place?
If you sign up to Dealradar, let us know what you think in the comments.
