Omo in Brazil has launched a revolutionary new idea to reward consumers and provide them with the a memorable customer experience. 50 boxes of their detergant have a GPS tracking device hidden inside. The device is activated as soon as it leaves the store, and then the activation team set about tracking the lucky purchase down. The winners are then given a video camera and a ‘no holds barred’ day out on Omo’s expense.

What a great way to use new technology to provide a unique customer experience from a very ordinary purchase decision.
