Most recently, Sue was a customer success strategist at NetApp, a Fortune 500 company. Recognized as a trusted advisor to influence and align people, programs, and processes on the customer. Sue launched a center of excellence for leveraging customer insights and driving actions across the company. By delivering comprehensive program communications and brand/marketing, Sue enabled the company to garner buy-in across organizations to customer programs and initiatives more rapidly.
Diverse key roles across HP for over 15 years provided Sue with a wealth of experience. Sue started in International Sales, moving into R&D, Marketing, Support, Training, Quality, Customer Advocacy, Sales Operations, and ultimately as an internal consultant to the top sales teams. In all of those roles, Sue engaged with the customer and executed HP’s first initiatives in customer-centricity. Sue coached top sales teams to sell strategically and to conduct proactive dialogs, at the executive level, by articulating derived business value. In R&D, Sue established a customer initiative which radically reduced technical issues and dramatically increased customer loyalty.
A commitment to coaching people to evolve beyond their comfort zone, Sue provided consulting services to many Fortune 1000s after leaving HP, running assessments of their customer, employee, and partner/alliance relationships. She has a proven track record in crafting highly effective action plans and behaviour by converting customer insights into pragmatic, actionable, and coherent outcomes for all types of audiences.
Adept at assessing customer relationships, Sue speaks on subjects such as “Got Data, Now What?” and “Will Your Customer Say Yes a Second Time?” She conducts highly valued interactive workshops in discerning customer pain-points and opportunities; and leading teams in developing and delivering effective plans. She has been interviewed and quoted in numerous magazines and journals.
